No bromeo. It's 1984 all over again. Veremos al Congreso norteamericano o a los animalitos sandungueros de nuestra Camara y Senado seguirle los pasos? Mientras tanto una foto de nuestro servicio de inteligencia en Grecia capto este tragico momento:

Being the lovely Devil's Advocate that I am, on second thought all those nerds in Greece would *actually* have to find something to do with their lives. Like have actual lives, for example. I can picture the video game withdrawals taking place. BWAHAHHAHAHHAHAH. Back to our regularly scheduled deprogramming.

La tele tiene a Leno, nosotros tenemos a Cheo, pero miren quien saco un librito por ahi:

Yeah B-Movies. Sam Raimi. Nuestro guilty pleasure. Admitanlo. Chorro e'.........

Robert Smith talks about solo album and new The Cure release

During an interview for a Greek channel, Robert Smith mentioned that the solo album he is currently working on, will be sounding kinda industrial. Also, the excellent fanpage Chain Of Flowers informs that The Cure will enter the studio to record a new album in October / November. To be produced by Robert Smith and Ross Robinson[WTF?!?!?!] (best known for his work with bands such as Korn, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Machine Head, Vanilla Ice, Soul Fly, Cold, Glassjaw, Amen, At The Drive-In and Vex Red), the band looks for a release for Spring 2003. The yet untitled album will be released on The Cure's own label and will be distributed by a US indie label. The band have 40 or so songs from which to choose from, and will likely pick about 10 for the album. More news as we get it.

(now, those are kinda scary news...)

EXODUS guitarist Gary Holt and current EXODUS manager/former guitar tech Steve Warner have reportedly joined forced in a side project called DRUG PIG, which recently completed work on five songs and tentatively plans to issue a full-length album in 2003. Details are sketchy at the moment, but the duo have apparently set their sights on enlisting former FAITH NO MORE/current FANTOMAS frontman Mike Patton to sing in the group, which has no intention of touring behind the upcoming CD.

Zack De La Rocha (ex-RATM) and Trent Reznor have started working on material together for De La Rocha's solo album. Recording sessions are taking place at Reznor's own New Orleans studio. De La Rocha has previously work with Dan "The Automator" Nakamura, Roots drummer ?uestlove, DJ Premier of Gang Starr fame and El-P formerly of Company Flow. No release date has been set for the effort as of yet, though Epic Records are expected to release it.
